If you want fast track programming perl is the way to go. C++ takes too long and that will pain the ass for the newbie programmers. With perl you can catch up CGI and PHP in a minute.

Ashis you are a newbie huh.gif ? Are you still out of germany . Perl is a web programming language written for UNIX operating system, later written in windows as well. Means Practical Extraction and Report Language, developed by Larry Wall, especially designed for processing text. Because of its strong text processing abilities, Perl has become one of the most popular languages for writing CGI scripts. Perl is an interpretive language, which makes it easy to build and test simple programs.

Perl is a stable, cross platform programming language. It is used for mission critical projects in the public and private sectors. An Open Source software, licensed under its Artistic License, or the GNU General Public License (GPL).
