BME Online Computing Guide

For students and faculty (Biomedical Engineering).

This guide was designed to help you get more out of your computing facilities. There are a great many powerful tools at your disposal. Unfortunately, many users never learn how to harness them. Now you have no excuses!

Use the guide to learn about new ways to get your work done or new corners of the Internet to explore and benefit from (or loot and pillage, but keep the pillaging down to a minimum). You don't need to read it cover to cover, just read enough to get started, but you should keep it handy for reference purposes.

Before we get started, let's go over the typesetting convention used in this guide. Understanding the convention will better help you to understand the examples.
