MANANDHAR 0 Report post Posted February 26, 2003 don't get surprised Bimal it's written in Anglo newari.. well script in english but words are newari... The thing is newari language is almost extinct... apart from handful of people speaking it... the Newari script is totally kind of extinct .... even I don't know how to write it.. neither understand it... We newars in the U.K. have formed an organisation called Pasa: pucha Guthi & made an effort to preserve the newar culture which dates back more than 4 thousand years ( I believe)
Pallavi Khanal 0 Report post Posted February 26, 2003 Hi guys, I really like and need to learn this Newari language. Can anyone teach me this language, please? If you have no enough time then slowly...slowly ok, no problem. Good day, see you guys.

So speaking newari and nepali ain't that difficult Edited February 26, 2003 by MANANDHAR

MANANDHAR 0 Report post Posted February 26, 2003 Bhaju newapasa, Well it would be nice if you could also contribute in this forum giving newari lesson to those who want to learn it. Newari is a really nice & humble language to hear. Really Pleasant tone ... though some of our Brahmin friends has got objections with what I say and criticize it with tatarrr matarrr tone.
