  1. Happy friendship day to all friends from my side too.
  2. QUOTE (thirdpole @ Aug 1 2004, 05:55 AM) they say what i say; i miss nepal, i love nepal. i wish if there was little opportunity, i would better off with small payment back home etc. anyone agree with me? Maybe, you are right. Only reading a news paper and hearing a TV news is not perfect knowledge so far.
  3. That's great friends!! I used my National Costumes only on Traditional Day and Friendship Day. Our friends here in Sri Lanka, they have had on every occasions but I don't like to use on every festivals or occasion because I feel little uneasy with saree. I mean to say only uneasy case and not mean to say that I don't like it. I like my National Costumes very much. On the another hand, we nepalese and Sri Lankans have same National Costumes (Only lady's costumes) and I don't think that our costumes does make any effects than them. But yes, when I met our Nepalese friends (boys) with Daura and Suruwal, they looks really cool than others.

    Thought of today..

Tomorrow will be second day at work. I have reported on much...cause well there hasn't been much to report on. Perhaps tomorrow I will have tons to say. We'll see.
  14. "For those of us who do not work directly with patients, our highest priority must be to help those who directly help patients."
  15. RUDYARD KIPLING Few people read Kipling any more. He is almost totally "politically incorrect" yet many of his poems teach lessons that could be applied to today's events. For example some of those we expect to die for this country if necessary have to seek food stamps to feed their families. GIs in the British army of Kipling's day were called "Tommy", short for the mythical "Tommy Atkins" weren't always appreciated.. Here's a bit of what Kipling had to say about them. " For it's Tommy this an' Tommy that an' chuck him out, the brute!" " But it's savior of 'is country when the guns begin to shoot..." By-Stephen DeVellis
