anish dahal 0 Report post Posted July 11, 2008 Dear all, It's very difficult to say the number of Nepalese students in Singapore. Particularly on Sarangoon Rd. and around Little India (Mustafa Area)we can find a large groups of Nepalese Students. We already started to count Nepalese students visiting different Private and Government Schools and university. Some difficulties are trying to push us back. Coz we don't have any PROOF THAT WE ARE WORKING LEGALLY as a sister organization of WNSO, Nepal. We hope to get the authority soon and forward the process for registration and work so called legal way. Thanking with regards, Anish Dahal Secretory WNSO Singapore
sunil 0 Report post Posted July 11, 2008 Dear Anish, WNSO in the most of the countries are not officially registered except in the UK and Nepal. But they are dong wonderful job without being a legal structure. Eventhough, we are promoting all those organizations to register in the concerened countries as a charity. But those National WNSO Committees have to fulfill certain criteria before we send the official documents. And, at present, many WNSO National Committees are working on to fulfill those criteria. Very soon, we will publish them also on the forum. Regarding WNSO Singapore, we have written a mail to Andrew about those criteria. Once WNSO Singapore fulfill them, we will send all required documents and receipts, stamps and banners to you. We have all those stuff prepared for you in our office. I will forward a copy of that mail to you too soon. All the best.
Yadav 0 Report post Posted July 15, 2008 from "Dr. Sunil Kumar Joshi" reply-to wnso-pm@googlegroups.com to andrew james cc wnso-nepal@googlegroups.com Dear Andrew, Thanks for your email. As we have discussed in our last meeting at the WNSO Nepal office, we are always here to help the students worldwide who want to start a new WNSO branch worldwide, provided they follow our policy and guidelines. As per the discussion of the Executive Committee of WNSO Global and WNSO Nepal, here are few stipulations from us for the registration of WNSO Singapore. 1. Executive committee should also include three sub committees like Promotion Committee, Scholarship Committee and General Welfare Committee. Each committee should consist of 5 members from different educational organisations or institutions. So please form three such committees and send to us their details (name, institution details and contact address). 2. CONFLICT OF INTEREST should not be present in the organization. Those people working as the agents for the educational consultancies or institutions in Singapore or Nepal should not be made members of any committee of WNSO Singapore. OR they should not be AT LEAST indulged in the FINANCIAL DEALING with the students who go to Singapore through WNSO. WNSO Committee members should not seek for any FINANCIAL BENEFIT from the students and the Institutions they are attending. Dear Andrew, we were expecting you and Deepak Ji at our office before you left Nepal. We prepared the Tshirts and Banners and Stamp pads for you but we could not hand over those articles to you. Please fulfill the above requirements soon, so that we could start the activities officially in Singapore. Best regards.
