Worldwide Nepalese Students’ Organization – Nepal is organizing the hiking program in Kathmandu; to mark the global day of action on climate change; as called by global climate advocates। The prime objective of the day’s short hiking event is to be sure that we safeguard our Himalayas well from the secondary effects of climate change।

The participants could be anyone who is enthusiastic on this.

Hiking Route:

Tokha – Jhor (Bus stops.) – Shivapuri Nagarjun National Park’s Jagaat Entrance, Shivapuri National Park – Gurje Bhanjyang – Suryachour (final spot from where we can view the spectacular Himalayan Range)

Fees: NRs 200 (for transportation, snacks, water and national park entry fees)

Date: Saturday, 12th December, 2009

Meeting Spot and Time: Samakhushi Chowk, 7:00 am sharp.

PS : Please bring an umbrella with you. Be sure to wear sneakers considering the rough nature of the route.
