It is the effect of our own NATURE. A STUDY DONE IN THE THAMES RIVER IN LONDON SHOWED THAT MALE FISHES IN THAT RIVER WERE BEHAVING LIKE FMALES AND EVEN THEY WERE PRODUCING FEMALE REPRODUCTIVE ORGANS LIKE OVARY. LATER THE ANALYSIS OF WATER PROVED THAT IT CONTAINED EXCESSIVELY HIGH LEVEL OF OESTROGEN, A FEMALE HORMONE, THAT WAS EXCRETED THROUGH URINE. THE MAIN CAUSE WAS THE USE OF CONTRACEPTIVES.
HERE I DO NOT WANT TO BLAME MY GENDER MATES. THIS IS THE WEAKNESS OF THE LONDON MAYORS OFFICE, WHO SHOULD THINK ABOUT THE DISINFECTION AND REMOVAL OF ALL CHEMICALS FROM SEWAGE WATER BEFORE DUMPING INTO THE RIVERS.

i think similar studies in the rivers of kathmandu can also be done. i am sure we still have many fishes left in the river despite the heavy contamination into them each day!
and any appropriate suggestions posted here could actually help to make the situation better!
