My requirement is:

I have to set-up roaming profile at my work. What I want is, if I use someone else computer, I would like to be able to use same desktop environment, for example, same wall paper, and all email settings including favourites should be there. Every time, when I log on to any machine, it will pull all the information from server and provide me exact environment whichever the PC I use. And when I log off, or at any given time period, it will synchronise with server to send update.

Anyone can help please?

If you are using Window NT/2000 server
then
- first create a folder say profiles
- share it

Once you create a user
- go to properties
- click on profile tab
- type \\computer name\shared name\user name

say your server name is Server1
you shared profiles folder as profiles
and user name is puTer

then you have to type \\Server1\profiles\puTer

Once the user log off everything will be saved in the server.

Note :- This will not support different kinds of client OS.

Hope this helps.

Cheers

One more thing...

Make suer that user is not restricted to use only particular computer.
- Check User properties
- click on Accounts tab
- click on Log on to
