Lots of people love Avril Lavigne - but some just don't know when to stop!
A devoted fan of the 18-year-old rocker is being blamed for a virus chomping its way through computers in Britain, France and Italy.
One of the ways it invades your system is through an e-mail disguised as a fan club letter for the Canadian singer.
More than 14,000 copies have been sent to the UK since Monday, according to a company offering an e-mail virus detection service.
Anti-virus experts say the author, who calls himself Otto, has hidden a dedication to Avril Lavigne within the code.
And the virus can trick security software into revealing personal passwords.
So if you receive it, leave it.
The virus is activated when the e-mail is opened - or deleted!
Always make sure your anti-virus software is up-to-date.
