Dear Individual Members,
We are pleased to inform you that Nepal Academy of Science and Technology (NAST) is organizing the 5th National Conference on Science and Technology from Nov 10-12, 2008 (Kartik 25-27, 2065) in Kathmandu. As you would recall, the conference signifies as the biggest event of Nepali scientific community, which is organized every four years. Keeping view the historical transition of the country, this year conference theme is Science, Technology and Innovation for Prosperous Nepal.

The science conference provides a milieu to all scientists and technologists working in various organizations in the country. The scientific program will include invited key-note addresses, plenary and special lectures, oral and poster presentations. There will be several technical sessions covering a wide discipline of science and technology, however the success of the conference solely lies on the active participation of this wider sector.
