With the healthy lead of 68 runs, Nepal showed some aggressive batting in the second inning. Although wickets fell regularly, Nepal was able to declare its 2nd inning with 180/6, with Shakti Gauchan coming back to form with 47 (the highest of Nepal 2nd inning). Malaysia had to chase the target of 225 in 30 overs, which was difficult task. Now, Malaysia either had to play aggressively to win or play for a draw. On the other hand, Nepal was thinking differently. Malaysia was on the door to defeat once with 90/7, however the tailenders played the anchor role, and weather was helping them. The match was announced for draw while there was still 7 overs to play. I wonder what could have been the result if we gotta chance to bowl those 7 overs.
But, no panic...we are straight to the final. Now, we are waiting for the opponent (Most probably UAE). But it's not the time to rest...this time we have to be winner, not the runner up.
