What a wonderful tournament it is. KTM is set on fire....with Nepal best 14 teams are fighting for their pride. Though it is getting cold in Nepal, but the body temperature of football fans are rising per match. As always, the competition of top contender is being held among MMC, NTSC, MPC, APF and TAC, however, dark horses like NRT, Friends and RCT are also claiming their chances. With every match, the number one position always fluctuate among the 5 best teams, meantime, it is occupied by defending champion Manang Marshyangdi. It seems difficult for MMC to retain it's title, as all other challengers are playing like lions. APF roars over NTSC and gets a wonderful victory, while MMC fells down against Friends in a crucial match. MPC and TAC have a goalless draw. So, it seems the real fighting is between the top 5 teams and we can expect champion among them. Let's have a clsoe look at the ongoing of tournament. MMC undoubtedly the number one contender. History shows that MMC won the most title than any other team. However, it's good to live in the present. And present shows that MMC can't smoothly claim the title this time. NTSC, MPC and TAC all looks set to be a winner, and last year entree APF is no long way behind. Friends club also looks agressive, as it wins its match against strong MMC and now NRT.

Football can have a bright future in Nepal. The improve league structure has now attracted lots of sponsors, which is good for football. The marketing is good and ppl are taking interest in the match. Competitions are not limited to a handful of teams, each and every team is able to claim for the league title. Football rocks now in nepal.

Today's League results:
Rani Pokhari Corner Team vs Jawalakhel Youth Club 2:0
New Road Team vs Friends Club 0:1

It's really hard to tell who gonna b the winner. The top 5 teams have equal chance. There might be a close fighting at the climax. The tougher the tournament will be, better it will be for the national side. Nepal is thirsty of an international title. And our dream won't get real unless we have strong foundation. We have to encourage our football.

Come on mates!!! Ain't you interested in your own football league? I am quite novice about football ( much involved in cricketing stuffs) and I would like to see the comments from all of you guys. Pad on, the ball is in your half now.

Quick News: Manang Marshyangdi draws with Sankata 0:0.
Three star lost to Army 0:4

Wow', I didn't expect NTSC to act like a minnow infront of Army. Is Army going to win the tournament? Can't say unless Manang shows some loose effort? I feel NTSC and MMC don't have such commitment like before. May be absense of Basanta Thapa the Great is affecting MMC performance. What about Sukra Tamang (or Surendra Tamang) of NTSC? Last time top scorer is not heard much this time. The tournament is really getting hot. Turn your AC on, mates.
