First Himalayan Blues Festival starts today

Himalayan Blues Festival is being organised in the capital on Wednesday at different venues that will see an array of International Blues artists and bands playing for the first time in Nepal. The festival will run for five days.

The performing artists include Black River Bluesman and the Croaking Lizard (Finland), JL Stiles and the Pax Armada (USA, Mexico & Spain-all stars), Dan Klarskov (Denmark), Bart Groenvynck (Belgium) with Looza and Jocose representing Nepal.

The events will be held in North Palace, Fusion Bar (Dwarika's), 1905 Restaurant and Organic Bistro among others.

Free BURMA............................

it should be BURMA not Myanmar

just a query, while I was hitchhiking in Helsinking to kaarja one fellow gave me a ride said he was upto Nepal for the festival . was there any participation from Finland?

Yes. Black River Bluesman and the Croaking Lizard from Finland perfromed in the festival
