Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Medical Technology or Master’s degree in Biology or other related science Knowledge of international laboratory standards Experience working in South-East Asian countries Skilled in the methodology of blood culture collection, handling and processing Familiar with using the bioMerieux BacT/ALERT automated blood culture system for microbial detection, especially for recovery of Streptococcus Pneumoniae Valid passport We need someone that is available for 3 to 4 weeks starting in January 2008. Please include the maximum amount of time you can be away from your permanent job or residence, lead time required before accepting an assignment, and details on your international experience as well as any foreign language skills.
