  3. WWW.BARNEPAL.COM Bar Nepal hopes to bring the Nepalese youth from around the globe together, to share their talents, ideas and bring together the Nepali community. Being a young Nepalese myself I often found it difficult to find others outside my family, in my age-group. Each party, function I attended there were the same people, same old faces. Now in the age of technology, Nepali people branching out, working and studying all over the world, I hope to build an online community to make you feel right at home no matter where you might be. This website will show the world just how talented we Nepalese can be. I urge any upcoming artists, singers, models, photographers, writers and poets to showcase their talents and use us as your stepping-stone to go on and pursue your dreams. The first step is to create your own profile, tell people about yourself, where you live, what you do and your hobbies, Include pictures and email. This will allow you to join the forums to engage in lively debates, air your views and just have a good time making new friends. Having problems? Then you know what they say 'Talking Helps', talk to our very own agony aunt for help and advice. The Talent section speaks for itself, to allow you to show the world what you can do, be it through music, art, literature, photography or just anything you feel you would like to share, do not hesitate to send it to me. We will also be holding regular events, to showcase the talents featured on our website. Kicking off with our launch party this summer, we aim to bring in Nepalese artists from Nepal, USA and all around the world. Come and show your support, meet new people and have a great time. Check the events Section regularly for updates on upcoming shows.

  7. message from: Saday Chalisey I deeply upset and sadden by what I have read and heard from Sundays, Nepali Yeti Football tournament. You probably don't know but myself, my brother and a few others actually started the this tournament over 10-years ago and called it the Nepali Youth Football Cup. Thus creating a lovely spirit and community for all Nepali youth and their parents. It was a success and enjoyed by many year by year until the official Yeti took over. Once taken over by the Yeti group it was still a major success and a fantastic way of creating a true Nepali community and a much talked about yearly event. We must thank Thapa for this. However, I stopped playing 2-3 years ago simply because the tension and aggressive behavior from some people was too much to bear and I did notice heated arguments and potential violence that could have occurred. I am not surprised.
