I tried following of these:- J Creator jGrasp Borland JBuilder Netbeans Except jGJRASP, other are build with only Java in mind. Now I am thinking to make IDE library . Can you please suggest me cool IDEs which can compile Java, C, as well as C++ and which one you vote for ? Sorry about the boaring stuff again. But after we talk about IDEs again... I really have some striking issues... Get ready... (new year is on the door)... Sandesh

linuxuser 0 Report post Posted January 17, 2005 Sandesh This link gives you some good IDE for languages such as Java, C, C++ etc. However it is for linux platform. Why are u looking for IDE for all those languages, just use individual IDEs, such as Visual Studio for VC++, VB etc, and JBuilder and such for Java. Also, what do you mean by IDE library? I think you are little confused about IDE in general. IDE is just a development environment with Compiler/ parser etc built in it. Sometimes you have to map the compiler on your own for the IDE. http://www.linuxmafia.com/faq/Devtools/ides.html

Prashad 0 Report post Posted August 25, 2007 well, I prefer Notepad++ a free source code editor (and Notepad replacement), which supports several programming languages, running under the MS Windows environment.
